Meet Our Volunteers

Volunteering is one of the most common forms of civic participation, and the benefits for both volunteers and society are colossal. Volunteering means giving willingly away your time and services without profit purposes, but mainly for contributing to a better cause. Volunteering is highly important for communities and has been part of the social responsibility culture for years, mostly in the developed world. It is also essential for a non-profit organization(s) to survive and complete its missions.

Volunteer opportunities at WARSAN are extremely varied and involvement can range from a few days to a few months or longer or anything in between. All that we ask is that volunteers have an interest and desire to support the development, relief and peace ( triple nexus) programs that are at the heart of our work. You will not only gain experience working with a small NGO but also have an exciting time experiencing life and seeing our project activities areas.

What do we offer?

1. Induction and orientation

An introduction to WARSAN, our work and what to expect during your time with us.

In-country orientation and information about the areas of operations.

2. Certificate of Appreciation

You will receive a certificate of appreciation on completion of your time volunteering with us.
